Just as we were about to go out on the boat, Ian dropped his little plastic Mario figure in the lake, at which point both he and Cam started wailing. While I got changed into my swim trunks, Ian kept leaning of the edge of the dock and saying, "It's okay, Mario. Daddy's gonna save you." Fortunately, I managed to stave off hypothermia just long enough to retrieve the toy.
