I spent Sunday night in Atlanta for an accreditation workshop at the Renaissance Concourse, an airport that could not be closer to the airport — this is the view from my balcony. Fortunately, the place had pretty good sound insulation.
A few months back, Joanna broke the right rear sliding door handle off the minivan. (She's powerful, she is.) Today, I finally got around to installing the replacement handle I picked up online. It would have been a simple ten-minute job for anyone mechanically inclined; I finished in two hours with only minor injuries and surprisingly few leftover pieces.
It's now been a week since Cam last went to school: Friday (teacher work day), Saturday, Sunday, Monday (MLK Day), Tuesday (snow, pictured), Wednesday (unplowed icy roads). Today he finally goes back, having gone stir crazy in the meantime, but with a two-hour delay....
Okay, I was trying to get a shot of the three kids together before we left for home this morning, and I hoped that they'd all be looking at the camera. I can be so dim sometimes....
We came out here to have a kickabout with the boys' new mini ball-and-goal set, but we just ended up stretching out and having a brief snooze. Maybe it was the tryptophan....
