Ran into this guy and a dozen of his friends this morning on the way back from dropping the kids off with Nana. It's no moose in the north woods, but it made me smile, and this morning I'm running short on smiles....

Snow Angel

Two inches of snow = two days out of school. Sound like overkill, but there's lots of ice in the shady spots, and there aren't enough sand trucks/plows.

Mama & the Boys

About a minute after counting to nine for the benefit of the rest of the table -- why stop at nine?! -- Ian began to arrange his pieces of pear, apparently organizing them by size. As soon as he was done, he put them back in the cup they came in, and then tossed the cup on the floor. Our little genius.

Does this count?

If you wake up on Boxing Day to slush and ice on the car, can you claim to have had a white Christmas? Probably not. :(
