Ian and Elena Have Lunch

Last Saturday, we drove to Durham and spent the night at Karen and Arthur's. In the morning, the ten of us (four Pierces, four Bakers, and two Tapps) drove in convoy to the Swan Quarter ferry terminal on the way to a week on Ocracoke. On the way to the ferry, we stopped at a Hardee's for lunch.

Breakfast on a Diet

On my doctor's orders, I've started a low-fat, high-fiber diet to get my HDL up and my triglycerides down. This is a single serving of my new breakfast cereal. I want to weep.
