Watching Frosty

Christmastime officially begins as soon as the last bite of pie is finished after Thanksgiving dinner -- which means it's time to watch Christmas specials! (Frosty the Snowman in this case.)

Ian Reads in Bed

Just lately, Ian has become much more interested in reading -- he doesn't quite know all his letters yet, but he does sing the alphabet song quite frequently.

Thanksgiving Lunch @ Weaverville Elementary

On Friday, 20 November, second graders at Weaverville Elementary got to invite family members to a special lunch. Joanna had to work, but I was free and went over for about half an hour. Cam wasn't keen on the meal being served, so he brought lunch in his Pokémon lunchbox, but he didn't mind sharing my pumpkin pie (well, pumpkin-colored goo, anyway). Ian seems to be doing a bit better today, but Sunday afternoon, still feverish, he just couldn't stay awake.

Cam wanted to be something "real" this year. Ian decided on his costume after putting back Thomas the Tank Engine. Too bad Buzz had to go trick-or-treating with a 102° fever.
