This is looking up Yost Street this morning at 6:30. It's 9°F, and all county schools are closed today, so Joanna's staying home with the boys while I go in to campus (early meeting, can't be missed). Last night, once the kids were abed, I bundled up and enjoyed a pipe and a dram (The Macallan Cask Strength — a very nice birthday present indeed!) and went out on the back deck to enjoy the snow. Marvelous!

New Handle
A few months back, Joanna broke the right rear sliding door handle off the minivan. (She's powerful, she is.) Today, I finally got around to installing the replacement handle I picked up online. It would have been a simple ten-minute job for anyone mechanically inclined; I finished in two hours with only minor injuries and surprisingly few leftover pieces.
