Kids Slay a Dragon


We went with the kids, Nana, and Pappy to the Carolina Reniassance Festival today in Huntersville (just north of Charlotte, about 2½ hours away), where we met Karen and Elena. (Arthur had to work.)

Trick-or-treating


The neighborhood behind Main Street in Weaverville is a hoppin' place on Halloween. There were literally hundreds of kids in costumes walking around, and lots of families were having parties on their front lawns to hand out candy.

Pikachu in a Carseat


Cam was very pleased that we managed to find a Pikachu costume. (No, the Pokémon phase hasn't passed yet.) Unfortunately, the mask made it so tough to see that he had to be led up steps.

Ian was very cute — so cute that, for some reason, a couple of passersby thought he was a girl. Perhaps he needs a haircut...?
