Cam and Ian were getting restless, so we headed for the exit before the speech was over. There was still a long line of people still waiting to get through the metal detectors.

That's the northeast (away) side of the stadium, full. The stage was in one end zone, and we were on the opposite 20 yard line.

Lining up for the Obama Rally


Just got back from the Obama rally at Asheville High School. Took over an hour just to get in. Preliminary expectations were for 10,000-15,000.

[Update: Asheville Police estimate the crowd at 28,000.]
