Central Park Gondola

I don't know what we expected to see in Central Park, but a gondolier plying his trade probably wasn't high on the list.

Snack on the Street

We visited the museum with Rob (my best friend from high school, who now lives in Brooklyn) and his sons Taka and Toshi. Afterwards we grabbed a snack on the street before walking through Central Park.

On this year's annual trip to Maine, we stopped for a few days in New York to visit friends in Brooklyn. We stayed at a hotel outside of the city - much easier to get to and from, and much cheaper than a place in the city - and took the train in. Arriving at Grand Central, we had to take the obligatory pic; it really is quite a picturesque space.

Ian's Homework

I don't recall much homework in kindergarten, but then that was an age ago. You can tell how focused he is by how far the tongue sticks out of his mouth.
