Off-roading with Dad & Nick

Ducks on the Lawn

Nine of them came up on to the lawn between the camp and the lake on our second morning. Ian watched them from the deck for about ten minutes before they jumped back in the water and swam away.

Patting Buddy

Sara and Nick were at camp with Buddy our first three nights. Somewhat surprisingly, Cam got used to being with the dogs faster than his brother did, though by the second day, Ian was relaxed enough to get in close for a tentative pat.

Stickers at the Picnic Table

Cam spent a good bit of time at the picnic table, playing with stickers, connecting dots, solving word puzzles, and generally enjoying himself.

Fishing & Reading on the Deck

Grammie got Cam and Ian a little wood-and-magnets fishing set, which Ian spent seemingly half his waking hours playing with.

Boys with Grammie and Luci

We spent a lot of time on this deck — it's a very comfortable place to be on summer afternoons.

Moosehead Camp

The exterior is finished now, but the interior is still a work in progress.
