Cam on the Rock

Cam wasn't keen on walking out on the viewing deck, so he decided to sit on this nice warm boulder.

Roan High Bluff is at the end of Cloudland Trail, with a viewing deck out over a sheer cliff face with views for dozens of miles.

Cloudland Trail

Almost as soon as we'd finished lunch, the clouds lifted, allowing the four of us to walk the last half-mile of the Cloudland Trail.

Roan Mountain Picnic

Went up to Roan Mountain on the North Carolina-Tennessee border today for a picnic but found it a bit dreary at 6000 feet, so we ate our sandwiches in the car.

Atlanta Marriott Lobby Interior

Stayed at the Marriott Atlanta Century Center for an academic administration workshop Tuesday-Thursday. Could have been nicer. The staff was helpful, but the room was falling into disrepair — cracked toilet lid, broken shower drain. To top it off, there was no free wifi — even the Super8 has free wifi! Next time, I'm staying at HoJo's.

More Olson Huff

During the second half-hour, Kim had Cam work on fine motor skills, including cutting out complex shapes with scissors and catching plastic grasshoppers in a net.

Cam in the Bouncy House

At the primary school's Spring Fling last Friday (9 May), Cam got to go in the bouncy house. When time was up, the other kids went for the exit, but Cam decided to bounce a few more times.

Lazing on the Sofa

This was taken in a rare moment of calm — typically, if they're together in the living room, they're beating on one another mercilessly.

Sliding

Cam would like it known that he is much taller than Ian, particularly when he's standing on top of a slide.
