Mama & the Boys

This means something....

About a minute after counting to nine for the benefit of the rest of the table -- why stop at nine?! -- Ian began to arrange his pieces of pear, apparently organizing them by size. As soon as he was done, he put them back in the cup they came in, and then tossed the cup on the floor. Our little genius.

Does this count?

If you wake up on Boxing Day to slush and ice on the car, can you claim to have had a white Christmas? Probably not. :(

"Look out for the giant space mince pie!"

I didn't make up the subject line of this post -- Cam said it just as I was snapping this pic.

Ian Contemplating Breakfast

The head of a chocolate Santa is like the ears of a chocolate Easter bunny -- the tastiest part (to be eaten before Dad gets ahold of it).

Christmas Cookies

You know it's Christmas Eve when...

...your two-year-old is running around the house, breathlessly yelling out, "Jingle Bells! Jingle Bells!"

Christmas Eve Dinner Table

It's a good thing no one asked for a low-fat or a vegan alternative!

Cam, Nana, and...

...enough ducks for a Hitchcock movie.

Nana & Pappy Sliding

Polartec fleece + plastic slides + cold, dry air = a static charge big enough to restart a heart

How many people can fit on the back of a chipmunk?

Perhaps the real question shoud be, why would the powers-that-be install a giant flexible rodent at the park?

Ian & the Deviled Egg

"Egg! Egg!" This one's vocabulary expands every day, and most of his new words seem to be food-related. :-)

Christmas Eve Refreshments

This goes really well with Scotch eggs, pork pie, sausage rolls, mince pies, cheeses, gingerbread men, Cadbury's chocolate, and Pepto Bismol....
